**DESCRIPTION** **Job Summary:** Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mesa, AZ). will make an impact in the following ways: We offer sign on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! + Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: **RESPONSIBILITIES** **(Advanced):** + Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools + Larger more complicated engine rebuilds + Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation **Experience:** Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products **QUALIFICATIONS** Overhaul experience required in Cummins engines. Certification is a plus. 1. The level for this position will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and skill set. Qualifications for different technician levels: 2. _Technician Level II:_ Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in-scope for technician at this location; primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians. + A current valid license is required for this role + This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations + This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical + 3 years driving experience + This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use + Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age + This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing. **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
