Volt is immediately hiring for a Direct Hire Diesel Technical in Hayward, CA.

\r\n\r\nAs a Diesel Technician:\r\n\r\n

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose both routine and emergency issues, and recommend repairs to customers. You will work with other technicians to ensure all tasks are done safely and meet customer satisfaction.

\r\n\r\nJob Duties\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks following manufacturer procedures.\r\n\tComplete all required paperwork accurately and on time.\r\n\tDiagnose vehicle issues by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.\r\n\tFollow all company and industry safety standards.\r\n\tInspect vital parts to ensure they are working properly.\r\n\tCreate a repair plan based on your diagnosis.\r\n\r\n\r\nWork Experience & Qualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAt least 3 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance in a heavy truck or fleet dealership/shop.\r\n\tStrong knowledge of systems like A/C, brakes, emissions, and air, as well as diagnostics and troubleshooting.\r\n\tComputer skills, including Microsoft Office.\r\n\tCDL and Allison Transmission experience is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Direct Hire Opportunity at $37 - $55 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
