**Job Title: Diesel Technician / Trailer Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to handle repairs of diesel trucks and trailers from day one. This role requires a strong understanding of various mechanical systems and the ability to perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks. **Responsibilities** + Rebuild diesel truck engines + Perform transmission work and clutch repair + Conduct electrical repair and troubleshooting + Carry out diagnostic tasks + Repair wheel bearings and seals + Perform brake repairs and oil changes + Conduct body work and door repair/replacement on trailers + Fabricate metal parts and perform axle repair + Repair and install refrigeration units on trailers + Conduct frame work on trailers **Essential Skills** + Hydraulics + Electrical troubleshooting + Diesel engine repair + Transmission repair + Diagnostic skills + Clutch repair + Suspension repair + Oil change procedures + Trailer repair + Engine repair + Diesel maintenance + Fabrication skills + Brake repair + Fleet maintenance + Welding + Wheel bearings and seals repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and tanker trailers + Comply with all DOT laws and regulations + Prepare and complete documentation on maintenance computer systems (Dossier) + Ability to diagnose and repair engines + Knowledge of various semi-tractors and engines + Experience in diagnostic and repairing of emissions systems + Knowledge of factory diagnostic software **Why Work Here?** We offer 100% paid individual health insurance and provide room for growth, with opportunities to move into a shop manager role.
