**Diesel Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining customer vehicles, identifying necessary repairs and maintenance, accurately estimating the cost of repairs, and performing the required services. The Diesel Technician will also document services performed, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. **Responsibilities** + Examine customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance. + Accurately estimate the cost of repairs. + Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently according to dealership guidelines. + Document all services performed. + Request necessary parts for repairs. + Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above company standards. + Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. + Participate in required training sessions. + Record all hours worked accurately in the company's timekeeping system. **Essential Skills** + Experience with diesel engines and related systems. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing engine issues. + Ability to perform oil changes, brake services, and preventive maintenance. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Experience with heavy equipment, truck, and fleet maintenance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong automotive experience. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong customer service skills. + Attention to detail. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401K plan.
