Handles more complex problems and can resolve independently.  This individual must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with employees and customers.  Particular attention will be on timeliness and quality of repairs.  All work is to be performed with a commitment to safety.   Responsibilities:   Diagnose and accurately perform all phases of vehicle repairRemove, clean, repair, reinstall and adjust vehicle components Engine repair and diagnosisEngine emission components Driveline componentsElectrical / electronic components Brakes / suspension / steering / exhaust Cab / chassisHydraulicsVarious Scan tool proficientEnsure work orders are properly completedSelect appropriate course of action for repairsEvaluate completed work prior to releaseEnsure safe use of power and hand-held toolsPerform road calls and emergency services as necessaryMoves vehicles safely between job and work areaCommunicate professionally with customers, team members and supervisorsActively participates in safety or educational training as requiredContinuous ASE re-certification is required to remain in job classificationThe above duties are not meant to restrict initiative but rather to define minimum activities. Class B CDL preferred but will train (will be expected within 3 months of start of training)   ASE Certification preferred.
