**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Buffalo, NY. **In this role will make an impact in the following ways:** + Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics + Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality + Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources. + Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level. + Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts. + Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
