**Job Title: Diesel Technician**
**Job Description**
Diesel Technicians will work on various equipment, including trucks, industrial equipment, heavy equipment, and generators. The role requires proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
**Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
+ Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
+ Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty components.
+ Interface positively with service writers, foremen, parts department, and customers.
+ Keep paperwork updated and submit upon completion.
+ Meet requirements for certifications.
+ Perform administrative duties related to the position.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3 to 10 years of experience in diesel truck, equipment, or generator repair.
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and truck repair.
+ Good tenure and longevity at previous places of employment.
+ Positive attitude.
+ Ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel generators.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Technical degree or certification is a plus but not required.
+ Positive attitude and the ability to set and accomplish goals.
+ Desire to take advantage of company-paid training and certifications on products.
+ Solid written and verbal communication skills.
+ 3 to 5 years of experience in diesel truck diagnosing and repairs.
+ Valid driver's license (compensation bonus for candidates with a CDL).
+ Must have your own tools, with a value ranging from $10,000 to $40,000.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
