Job Title: Diesel Technician | 1st shift up to $35/hr

The Painesville location operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (or 7:00 am to 3:30 pm if necessary

ResponsibilitiesPerform heavy-duty truck/trailer repair and maintenanceDiagnose and repair pneumatic brake systemsConduct air ride and spring ride diagnosis and repairMaintain and repair electrical wiring systems and ABS braking systemsUnderstand the mechanics of how trailers support and carry loadsPerform wheel end and brake system repairsOperate power and hand tools as well as other equipment used in servicing vehiclesMove freely throughout the service area, including climbing in/out of trailers, bending, and walkingUse testing equipment including computers and other electronic diagnostic tools to identify failed componentsEssential SkillsExperience with diesel engines and trucksTroubleshooting and repair skillsWelding and bodywork expertiseSuspension repair knowledgeAbility to diagnose mechanical issuesMechanical aptitude for maintaining wheel end and brake systems

We offer team and individual bonuses, with up to $700 per month based on efficiency. Enjoy annual performance evaluations, a yearly shoe allowance of $150 to Redwing, and a $750 tool allowance. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
