Job Description Diesel Truck Mechanics, you are responsible for assessing and repairing our fleet of Semi Tractor/Trailers at the Railyard. You will be responsible for Identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions. Read & understand hydraulic & electrical schematics. Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines (Cat, Cummins, Detroit). Perform maintenance & mechanical repairs on Hostlers & Forklifts. Maintain routine maintenance schedules on all Tractor Semi/ Trailers. Skills and Requirements - 1-3 years of Tractor Semi/Trailer repair & Maintenance experience - Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel, electrical, cooling, and exhaust systems - Able to perform maintenance inspections that include tune-ups, oil changes, and other key services. - Able to inspect mileage, belts, flushing fluids, and gasket replacements. - Hydraulic and electrical maintenance experience is required - Ability to lift 50lbs. - Willingness to work in varying weather conditions - Valid Drivers License - Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening - Owning tools preferred but not required null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
