**DIESEL MECHANICS NEEDED ASAP** **ROCHESTER, NY** **We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.** (Primarily working on trash pickup trucks, roll off containers, and flatbeds, etc.) For this position – we only need Diesel techs with experience on medium and heavy-duty vehicles. **Monday through Friday, 7am – 4pm or 11am - 7pm. Guaranteed 40 hours a week - most weeks - between 5-8 hours OT available. (Shift hours may be flexible)** **Responsibilities:** + Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel trucks. + Use diagnostic equipment to test and repair vehicles. Troubleshoot mechanical issues in trucks and heavy equipment. Service and maintain all types of vehicles. + Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems. + Maintain detailed records of services and repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations. **Qualifications:** + Diesel experience needed – **ALL LEVELS 3+ years and up - Welcome to apply.** Primarily working on trash pickup trucks, roll off container flatbeds, etc. + Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s) + Work independently with minimal supervision.
