Job Description: Dietary Aide Location: 119-Southern Utah Veterans Home - Ivins, St. George, UT, 84738

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with established policies and procedures Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas Assist in the receiving, storage, and inventory of food and supplies Assist in the preparation of special diets as directed by the dietary manager Assist in the setup and cleanup of dining areas for meals and special events Assist in the training of new dietary staff members Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary manager Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
