Join our team as a Dietary Aide in our Continuing Care department and play a key role in delivering excellent service to our residents. You’ll ensure the dining room and pantry run smoothly, supporting our goal of providing a great dining experience.

How you will make an impact

Greet and welcome residents upon their arrival at the restaurant in the assisted living areaEnsure the smooth operation of the restaurant by coordinating with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff work efficientlyAssist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal clean-upEnsure all residents receive adequate nutritional intakeMaintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchenEnsures the dining service areas are properly set-up and maintained throughout the dayMaintains the dining areas in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition during and between mealsMaintains pantry and dining service area sanitation and equipment cleaning scheduleAttends pre-meal briefing and demonstrates knowledge of menu, therapeutic diets, portioning and plating requirements (as appropriate)Processes guest slips, including resident charges and guest charges as assigned

What you will need

Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment is preferredBe able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 poundsFlexible with schedule, available to work some weekends and holidays
