+ The Dietary Aide is responsible to ensure that the following responsibilities are completed promptly and to the best of his/her abilities:
+ following safe food practices in preparing meals as mandated by the state and federal agencies.
+ following standardized recipes and outlined portions as prepared by the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietician.
+ keeping all work areas clean and sanitary.
+ checking storage areas for needed products, thawing out products according to the Minnesota Food Code.
+ assuring that the freezer and coolers are at the proper temperatures.
+ keeping kitchen equipment clean and sanitized after use.
+ adhering to assigned cleaning schedule.
+ storing unused food portions properly, including dating, labeling and discarding as needed.
+ adhering to the policies and procedures outlined by LBSA.
+ performing other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
Starting wage for this position is $13.50 hourly (dependent on experience). Up to 30 hours per week. Hours will include some weekend shifts.
