Summary:

The Dietary Aide I serves patient food trays, prepares box meals, stocks trayline and other backroom areas, general dishroom duties, general cleaning tasks, wash pots and pans, general custodial tasks, delivery of food carts (including proper cleaning and sanitation of dish machine).

Responsibilities:
Delivery and pick up food carts to patient care areas.Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards when serving meals.Use chemicals correctly and safely per department standards.Work assigned tasks for special functions.Work assigned tasks in pots and pans area per job flow standards.Works assigned cleaning tasks per job flow standards.Works assigned patient care duties per job flow standards.Works assigned tasks in a dish room per job flow standards.

Speech: Must be able to talk to staff to complete assigned tasks.
Vision: Needed to see food being served and cleanliness of work areas
Smell: Helpful to note presence of electrical/fire hazard.
Hearing: Must be able to hear co-workers, customers and management.
Touch: Needed to handle dishes, silverware, etc., without dropping. Exposure to wet and slippery surfaces.
