JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reads menu to determine needs and prepares for the assigned meal. Sets cutlery on tables, prepares appropriate food, prepare plates that are presentable and have proper portions of food. Helps serve clients if the opportunity is available.
Weekend availability for lunch/dinner needed with additional hours during weekday for lunch meal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares meals according to assigned menu and serves meals in accordance with dietary requirementsStocks supplies in the kitchen and dining areaCleans and organizes kitchen, equipment and dining areaFollows food safety guidelines when preparing and storing food.Stays within budget as instructed by service line leadershipKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.Knowledge of food handling standards.Skilled in working with budgets.QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
High school diploma or GED required.
Years of Experience
Experience in a dietary aide role preferred.
Certification/Licensure
Food Safe Certified within 90 days of hire date or as approved by supervisor.
