Dietary Food Service Worker

This is a regular, part-time position | Schedule M-F 7am-3pm hours could change due to business needs | Pay will start anywhere from $13-$14 per hour. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position. 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Entry level hospital food service position, responsible for preparation and service foods, snacks and beverages for therapeutic diets and cafeteria service. You will report to Dietary Management.

Primary Tasks:

Prepare simple/basic foods using standardized recipes, posted menus and therapeutic diet restrictions.Apply information from the Oklahoma Diet Manual regarding food allowances on physician ordered diets.Monitor and adjust the quantity of food prepared therefore minimizes food waste and ensure portioning.Receive, date, rotate and store food according to approved food service standards and notify a supervisor of outdated food.Monitor and record food or equipment temperatures and report equipment temperatures issues to supervisor.Provide accurate, service to customers, patients and coworkers.Maintain a sanitary work environment through strict adherence of established sanitary standards. Work in a safe manner to prevent harm to self & others.You will document information received concerning a patient's diet and food selections and maintain proper records following dietary regulations.Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Required Education and experience:

You will obtain a Choctaw Nation Food Handlers certificate within 90 days of hireVisual acuity necessary to identify cleaning products, food labelsYou will follow safety guidelines
