Responsibilities

Provides medical nutrition therapy following the nutrition care process and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Also provides nutrition education for staff, students, and the community in a variety of settings and formats. Actively participates in inter- and intradepartmental activities, meets relevant regulatory requirements, provides quality outcomes and maintains professional competencies. Serves as a resource for medical staff and allied health professionals. May also be involved in food service systems depending on individual job requirements.



Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience with Clinical Dietetics preferred. Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field. 

Internship or education as required for registration eligibility with the Commission on Dietetics Registration. Must be able to travel. State of Minnesota Board of Dietetics Nutrition Practice Licensure required within 3 months of hire. Registered status with Commission on Dietetic Registration credential within 3 months of hire.
