The Dietitian Inpatient (Registered Dietitian) is a member of a multidisciplinary team that assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates all aspects of a patient's nutrition care.  The Dietitian Inpatient is able to use validated tools to identify patients that require nutrition interventions or that have the potential for developing nutrition related problems.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree In Food & Nutrition or Dietetics     And Coursework/Training and Completion of an approved Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Internship      Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration  3 years of APPLIES ONLY TO RDs WORKING WITH ICU ADULT PATIENTS: Completion of an approved Dietetic Internship with a strong clinical nutrition component. APPLIES ONLY TO RDs WORKING WITH ICU ADULT PATIENTS: Inpatient clinical nutrition experience and experience managing complex nutrition support. APPLIES ONLY TO RDs WORKING WITH PEDIATRIC AND NEO-NATAL PATIENTS: Completion of an approved Dietetic Internship with a strong clinical nutrition component which includes focused training in pediatric nutrition.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree APPLIES ONLY TO RDs WORKING WITH PEDIATRIC AND NEO-NATAL PATIENTS: Recent experience in Pediatric and/or Neo-natal nutrition.
