Sodexo is currently seeking an inpatient Registered Dietitian (32 hours week) to join our healthcare team at the recently expanded state-of-the-art facility, Adventist Health and Rideout Regional Medical Center in Marysville, California.

 

Adventist Health and Rideout Regional Medical Center hospital is located 40 miles north of greater Sacramento and provides acute care services to residents of Yuba, Sutter and the surrounding region and 105 miles to San Francisco, CA!  

This hospital is a Level III Trauma center consisting of a 200 beds facility that recently has had an expansion,  implemented the Sodexo Premier Room Service Program to enhance patient satisfaction

Incentives Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal! What You'll Do

Report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will:

Provide Medical Nutrition therapy to patients with a variety of disease states;Conduct nutrition 1:1 patient assessments and diet education as needed;Educate patients, family members and facility staff on concepts of nutrition and diet modifications;Conduct appropriate patient documentation while have working knowledge of EMR charting (currently Cerner and CBORD), nutrition informatics, and the nutrition care process. What You Bring A valid  Registered Dietitian credential; Preferably prior knowledge of patients with chronic kidney disease, wound and skin impairments, diabetes management, enteral and parenteral nutrition,as well as, critical care, oncology, cardiac care, NICU (NICU, currently being reviewed for CCS designation) and maternity;Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, customer service skills while enjoying working with patients and a diverse staff;The ability to participate in Quality Improvement projects;Excellent time management skills, are self-starters, work well both independently and with a team of registered dietitians;Have a strong desire to continue learning and advancing clinical skills. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
