The dietitian plans, directs and provides nutritional care to patients and conducts nutrition assessments. Dietitian offers education to patient and family members, in-service and training to food service and other departments as needed.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, foods and nutrition. within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Alaska Dietitian License. Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Alaska Nutritionist License. upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in Dietetics or nutrition science. 2 years Hospital inpatient experience. Experience working with adult/geriatric population.
