Digital Accessibility A11Y UX Designer
**Job Description:** + Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to design and build desirable, accessible user experiences that both conform to industry accessibility standards such as WCAG and expand what accessibility means in digital experiences. **Responsibilities:** + Develop process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate how design quality achieves the desired results. + Produce user flows, wireframes, and design solutions for accessibility product development tooling. + Annotate design documentation to ensure accessible interactions. + Execute tasks within the scope of a broader project under general guidance from manager, team lead, or senior designers. + Select appropriate design methods, tools, and processes from options provided by manager or senior team members to address technical challenges under some guidance; and + Begin to influence project, program, or product decisions by providing support to senior key decision makers (e.g., facilitating workshops, crafting/delivering presentations. + During this work, you will also regularly participate in design critiques and reviews, join brainstorming and problem-solving workshops, and support accessibility office hours. You will be expected to execute delegated tasks related to well-defined project timelines, goals, and objectives, and clarify assumptions with stakeholders before creating or finalizing designs. + You will align with senior UX designers to deliver design features or services that maintain product quality and consistency. Your deliverables will leverage standard writing and design tools to help develop mock-ups or prototypes, identify product or platform requirements, and follow well-defined design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines. **Experience:** + Portfolio that demonstrates experiences crafting usable digital interfaces. + Knowledge of product design principles and user-centric processes. + Knowledge of accessibility guidelines, especially WCAG would be beneficial. + Comfortable using Figma and Material Design would be beneficial. + Knowledge of design systems and their contemporary trends and usage. + Familiarity with UX design principles, accessibility guidelines and inclusive design. + Demonstrated familiarity creating production ready design documentation. + Ability to make design decisions that result in a coherent product, platform, or user experience, including the ability to question and assess execution, craft, longevity, and scale of designs. **Skills:** + UX Design + Accessibility + Figma and Sketch + Wireframe and Prototype **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Design or HCI, or equivalent practical experience. **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
