Job Summary
This intermediate-level Digital Advertising Analyst position is a hybrid role based at our headquarters in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing both standard and advanced paid search account management tasks, including handling PPC campaigns for clients of various sizes. This role requires the ability to work both independently on tasks and also collaborate under close supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
· Optimize and expand paid search campaigns
· Keyword and search query analysis
· Provide regular reporting of KPIs and competitor metrics
· Paid search account and performance health checks
· Add new paid search campaigns for new stores on a weekly basis
· Update paid media reports on a monthly basis
· Upload creatives for paid search and paid media campaigns
· Launch ad copy tests and monitor performance
· Pull routine and ad hoc reporting requests
· Update reporting to review store performance on a weekly basis
· Review reporting for individual stores and make recommendations for paid search budget changes
Job Specifications
Knowledge:
· Understanding of paid search interface and KPIs
· Understanding of paid search account hierarchy and organization
· Industry best practices in PPC management and optimization
Skills:
· Navigate and Use Google Ads web UI and Desktop Editor
· Navigate and Use Bing Ads web UI and Desktop Editor
· Ability to use Excel to analyze and manipulate large data sets (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.)
Abilities:
· Critical thinking and strong communication ability
· Can interpret data and clearly communicate opportunities or problems to team
· Aid and participate in vendor partnerships
Behaviors:
· Reliably follow instructions and project leadership
· Detail oriented
· Ability to work autonomously
· Constantly driving ways to improve business processes
Education and Experience
· 3+ yrs of experience managing paid search advertising
· Bachelor degree preferred but not necessary
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting (less than 10 pounds) or walking required. Close visual acuity required to perform work at computer terminal. No exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping and feeling.
