We are looking to hire a Digital Asset Manager  immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Summary:

The DAM Manager creates, develops, refines, and executes strategy for the leadership and growth of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) program. The role is the subject matter expert, project leader, and DAM Staff mentor responsible for major projects, global guidelines, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, develop, refine, and execute strategy for the leadership and growth of the DAM program Lead major projects being the subject matter expert for our organization Ensure DAM program is aligned with industry best practices and strategies; Determine the right products, integrations, and next steps for the DAM program. Ensure user success and happiness with DAM program experience; Lead reporting and analytics. Mentor DAM staff and guide their professional development Lead migration projects and ongoing migration of assets created by regional resources into DAM & PIM. Troubleshoot any issues with the DAM system, resolve problems and communicate with stakeholders as necessary. Optimize and refine taxonomies, metadata standards, file naming conventions, and DAM Global Guidelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or related field  5-10 years of experience in digital asset management (DAM), including creating, developing, executing, and refining products Expert knowledge of digital asset management best practices and strategies; Passion for DAM and a desire to stay current with industry trends and best practices Experience leading major projects; Understands DAM, PIM & CMS platforms and is able to adapt easily to changes within the space Experience managing and mentoring DAM staff Able to recommend optimized ways of working to enable efficiency, automation, and speed without sacrificing accuracy Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities; ability to navigate through ambiguity Strong interpersonal/influence, collaboration and organizational skills to manage input from cross-functional teams   Ability to graciously give, receive, and integrate feedback on a regular basis Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Highly motivated and results-driven with a passion for customer service and team building Strong work ethic and integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Project Management Professional (PMP)  Well-versed in Microsoft 365 software.  Experience using project management/workflow tools  CPG experience  Experience working with creatives and communicating technical direction

Base Salary: $100,870 - $176,480

 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
