**About the Role:**
As the CBRE Digital Buildings Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and operational perfection for the client and Facilities Management Engineering Operations team. Demonstrating your expertise, you will support the management and optimization of the client’s operational technology ecosystem.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. With the responsibility of providing support, Preventive maintenance, and repairs on the client’s Digital Building applications and infrastructure. The role will assist the account with achieving its smart building and sustainability goals. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including Engineering, Asset Management, and Energy Management, to deliver integration, data-driven insights, and operational efficiency.
**What You’ll Do:**
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Lead the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department important metrics. Mentor and coach as needed.
Supervise scope development, work request initiation, scheduling, and inspection of work performed by outside contractors.
Maintain a total facilities systems management program which includes all the various connected and separate electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems (BMS, EPMS, Lighting, Remote Facilities Monitoring, Workplace Occupancy)
Participate in all department related programs and activities. This includes incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment.
Inspect systems to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves operational conditions prescribed by the client.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own field and how own field integrates with team members to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, solve, and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Assist in the development of the Building Operating System, smart building strategies, process improvements and capital projects to support the client.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with Building Management Systems experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
+ Any experience with the following: Siemens Desigo, Schneider Electric, SkySpark, Automated Logic WebCtrl, SiteScan, Distech, CMMS, Tridium Niagara N4, Honeywell, LoRaWAN, IoT products
+ Working experience or understanding of industrial communication Protocols (Modbus, BACnet, OPC, MQTT)
+ Possesses knowledge on mechanical equipment sequences, sequence of operations, root cause analysis, method of procedure documentation.
+ Solid understanding of networking fundamentals as related to operational technology (network monitoring, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, spanning tree, SSH, firewalls, TCP/IP, UDP and cybersecurity)
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

**CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a** **candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position** **is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is** **$117,000 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate** **will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also** **be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.**
