About the Team The mission of the Global Scaled Solutions (GSS) team is to transform Uber's best ideas into agile, global solutions. The team is spread out globally between the US (San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Boulder), India (Hyderabad, Bangalore), Hong Kong, Singapore, and Amsterdam. The Global Scaled Solutions (GSS) is focused on delivering a range of capabilities/objectives to multiple Tech and business teams while maximizing value for Uber through solutions that are: 1\. We take on big problems to help drivers, riders, delivery partners, and eaters get moving in more than 600 cities around the world. **About the Role** We are looking for an innovative individual to drive and help implement the team's vision through social media strategies, along with training and development content to reach and engage target audiences. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in this field and a strong background in creating engaging content tailored for various learner personas and developing social media plans that generate high levels of audience engagement across multiple channels and learning modalities. A passion for problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and driving data-driven results is essential. This role will be responsible for ideating and identifying successful social outreach initiatives that will help us reach key audiences and help drive our message to our global community. Additionally, they will also be a key contributor toward building content for our programs (for internal and external engagements) by bringing to the table upcoming market trends in digital content and innovative training methods to ensure quick and effective content delivery. **\-\- What You Will Do --** 1\. Analyze culture, community, media, and market trends based on learner personas and different regions of coverage to make informed and creative decisions to develop content. 2\. Ability to tap into growth areas to increase outreach and support go-to-market approaches 3\. Design and implement proactive communication strategies to help promote engagement for the Global Scaled Solutions team 4\. Analyze user feedback, quality of output, and engagement trends to evaluate the effectiveness of existing content, and approach and identify areas for improvement or optimization. 5\. Build scalable solutions through content to address larger and long-term gaps vs. reactive fixes. 6\. Help in testing platforms and new learning features from a tooling perspective and suggest product enhancements to influence the Tech and L&D roadmap positively 7\. Create creative templates and storyboards yourself using existing CMS and encourage alignment by building comprehensive Playbooks and Design/Style guidelines for content developers across the board. 8\. Keeping up with the latest social media trends and best practices to continue to deliver cutting-edge learning experiences **\-\- What You Will Need --** 1\. 6+ years of relevant experience in communications, social media content and related strategies along with content creation and development preferably in the tech industry 2\. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations, or related fields 3\. Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics/analytics 4\. Exceptional writing and communications skills 5\. Deep understanding of the media landscape, including audience insights, new trends, and emerging platforms. 6\. Proven ability to think outward at company level objective while being able to bring value to tactical activities and have an attention to detail 7\. Excellent analytical skills to be able to take data driven decisions to sustain performance of solutions. 8\. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with conflicting priorities 9\. Experience developing and customizing creative, innovative, and integrated content that can be used internally and nuanced as needed, to be shared publicly. Preferred Qualifications 1\. Strong command of media, policy, and cultural landscape for different regions 2\. Be an expert at relationship building and in presenting to executive-level, confident, curious, and have a champion mindset for this body of work. 3\.
