As a member of the US Retail Markets Data Office, our Digital Data Product Owner will be responsible for steering an Agile team through the development of data collection patterns across our digital applications. Primarily focused on Digital Sales, Marketing, and Claims, this Product Owner will work closely with analytics stakeholders and Experience and Solutions application teams to ensure effective collection of metrics. This person will translate business and analytics needs into Agile stories, provide thoughtful prioritization over myriad requests, and ensure data are delivered with accuracy.
Responsibilities
Contributes to the development of the portfolio vision by partnering with stakeholders and clearly understanding their business objectives. Communicates product and portfolio vision to their squad/team and other squads/teams outside their portfolio/functional areaWith the squad/team, collectively accountable for developing and achieving product level KPIsOwns and maintains the product backlog and is accountable for its contents and prioritization. Accountable for clear, actionable user storiesSets priorities and actively participates in squad/team planning. Collaborates with Manager, Product Owner to set priorities for portfolio quarterly planningSets expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities. Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremoniesWorks daily with the agile working group, clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating, and supporting alignment around product strategyMonitors and maintains the product health, supporting long-term product viability and efficiency, and balancing long and short term and costs with desired outcomes Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills requiredExperience in communicating recommendations to senior business leaders preferredBA/BS, or relevant work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferredMBA or advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative discipline strongly preferred3-5+ years of experience working in coding and data solutions design principles, particularly in open source tools and technology About Us**This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location.**
