Position Summary The Digital Economy Manager — Walmart.com has the responsibility for delivering sales growth and market share goals for our Batteries and Lights Categories on Walmart Digital Commerce platforms. They will develop and execute sales plans based on platform knowledge and ecommerce experience. This position will be the digital shelf orchestrator for the Walmart Customer Team, proactively delivering digital category insights, digital commerce sales growth, and championing Walmart.com initiatives internally with colleagues and externally with the Customer contacts. Responsibilities Develop Walmart.com customer strategy and business objectives; develop KPI’s and deliver on them Understand and support Walmart Customer Team’s overall strategy to develop shared Walmart Omnichannel objectives and metrics of success / KPIs with Walmart.com account team; identify growth opportunities based on an understanding of Walmart and Walmart.com Customers’ ways of working and organizational structure. Develop and execute Annual Business Plans that efficiently achieve Walmart eCommerce and Energizer goals / objectives Manage weekly and monthly reporting to deliver meaningful insights to the Walmart Team and Digital Economy Team that drive recommendations to exceed sales plan Serve as point of contact for all Walmart.com touchpoints and develop internal and external relationships at peer level and above Support the Line Review preparation and exceed Walmart Buyer expectations for digital support and growth plans Execute across the value chain to deliver customer strategy and achieve objectives Provide full-time focus on driving Walmart digital commerce Take accountability for digital shelf orchestration to steer team activity and make decisions around assortment, availability, and visibility Manage eCommerce assortment and pricing; communicate regularly with Commercial teams to manage channel conflict / ensure alignment across the channel Collaborate with Shopper Marketing/Digital Media Lead to execute placement and visibility strategies and monitor the effectiveness of media spend making daily adjustments as needed Collaborate closely with Walmart Sr. National Account Manager to deliver category leading digital insights and growth rate Ensure product keyword listings, product page content, etc. are optimized for search rankings Collaborate with Shopper/Activation team to align online and in-store promotion activity Own customer support, including logistics, order processing and fulfillment; coordinate with Supply Chain colleagues to forecast demand and ensure ability to fulfill obligations Manage all customer contracts, trade fund management and promotion ROI analysis Communicate marketplace and competitive knowledge regularly with COE stakeholders to recommend tactic adjustments and share learnings Drive test and learn pilots for Walmart eCommerce platforms Drive Walmart digital commerce relationships internally and externally Foster strong relationships with customer buying and digital merchandising teams and key internal support teams Attend supplier meetings and trade conferences Communicate Walmart digital commerce results and optimizations Provide weekly, monthly, and annual updates to metrics of success May perform additional duties as assigned What we are looking for 4 year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 5 years related work experience Walmart Omnichannel account management experience Report to Bentonville, AR office and cultivate relationships Ability to influence internal and external change without direct ownership Positive attitude and ability to exert influence / drive change Ability to take initiative and self-direct Ability to balance Customer, Consumer, and Shareholder perspectives at the same time Ability to intelligently challenge convention, influence decisions, and drive change Understanding of P&L and how decisions affect the bottom line Come join us!
