This is an ideal position for someone passionate about embedded systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for: · Embedded firmware and software development for new and existing products using FPGAs and microcontrollers · Generating hardware schematics and directing PCB layout · Leading design discussions, technical reviews, and project planning · Generating technical product documentation and test plans Preferred Skills/Experience: · Firmware development in Verilog using FPGAs from Xilinx, Intel, or Microchip · Knowledge of SPI, I2C, RS-232, and Ethernet protocols · Software development in C using 8051, PIC, or ARM microcontrollers · Comfortable with hardware debugging · Experience with real-time systems and code/design optimization · Familiarity with Labview and Altium · Usage of basic test equipment for analysis and debugging digital circuits: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and function generators Requirements: · Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field · 0-3 years’ experience in FPGA development · Experience with FPGA timing closure · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Highly organized individual with keen attention to detail · Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. **Salary Range:** $71,940.00-$96,140.000 **Pay Transparency** The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
