BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Digital Executive Producer, you will guide content creation across the digital team. You’ll create cohesive plans to tell local stories in all formats – including video, photos, infographics, live articles, live streams, and more. You will work with the newsroom to sync coverage for our various platforms. You will be part of a collaborative team that creates compelling, timely, and accurate content intended to engage and connect with our local audience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS

Required Qualifications

Experience: Producing news, sports, and/or lifestyles & entertainment digital content - 5+ years, Management - 2+ yearsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience Technical Skills: Website/CMS platform management experience, knowledge of HTML, CSS, FTP, and other web scripting practices, Adobe Creative Suite and/or digital content software experience Skills: Working knowledge of digital paid media practices (web, search, and social), strong attention to detailAbilities: Ability to work under time pressure deadlines Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the communitySchedule: Works different shifts or longer shifts due to "breaking news" and severe weather emergencies. Willing and able to work weekends and holidays

The base pay for this position generally is between $86,000.00 and $182,900.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
