Intern: Electrical Engineer
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Bayer Crop Science's Digital Farming arm, we deliver sustainable digital solutions using the latest agronomic science, data science, engineering, and real-world farming experience. With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in ag.
We are looking for talented and motivated Electrical and Computer Engineering students with solid hardware fundamentals to help build world-class devices. Our solutions help farmers around the world improve productivity and yield with ingenious data measurement devices, mobile software, and advanced analytics. As an Electrical Engineering intern, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing new hardware in a fast-paced, iterative development environment that fully embraces modern tools and development best practices. We’ll provide mentorship while you work on a product that solves a real business need in an atmosphere of learning.

Required qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Understanding of analog and digital circuit theory
Some experience in making hardware devices
Preferred qualifications:
Initiative to figure out how things work and to push the limits of your own knowledge
Able to collaborate with others to design and development projects
Great attention to detail and reasoning skills
Demonstrated passion for quality
Able to program in Python and/or C
Good understanding of embedded / IoT devices
Experience working with Linux

Salary estimated range between $30-$50/hour, depending on degree level and the hiring location.
