This is what you will do: 

DHEI Intern will have day to day responsibility for running programs delivering Alexion Digital Health Experience Innovation products and services. S/he will have a clear understanding of what enables the business to generate value and ability to powerfully explain innovation frameworks across stakeholder groups. They would drive initiatives leveraging existing DHEI offerings, frameworks and services and apply in end-to-end value chain of drug development and commercialization.

You will be responsible for: 

·Responsible for day-to-day coordination of the activities in the Alexion internal Innovation Incubator - Accelerator

·Develop and maintain an internal communication strategy that promotes the Accelerator and recruits new project submissions

·Maintain pulse on the future of work, AI and other leading-edge practices. Strong external network. Well-versed and connected to thought leaders and trend setters.

·Able to teach innovation methods to teams/lead Accelerator group sessions and provide growth opportunities for high-potential Alexion talent to develop innovation skills

·Strategically guide teams to the right methodology and instruct them on how to apply it

·Present findings and recommendations through written reports, presentations and artifacts that are developed within DHEI knowledge management group

·Act as the point of contact for cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration and information sharing.

·Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance accelerator processes.

·Assist in organizing and leading meetings and workshops to ensure cohesive communication and alignment across all involved parties.

You will need to have:

·Be a flexible learner and thrive in a matrixed and cross-functional environment

·Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to executive level, and Board level audiences, expert in written and verbal communication – reaching and captivating people at all levels

·3-D savvy (Data, Design, Digital) to be able to understand and decide on how these advanced technologies can create value for the business

·Demonstrate strong analytical and synthesis skills, make connections and shape conclusions from data

·Ability to communicate effectively, support developing and editing internal communication plan, knowledge articles and white papers

·Strong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting challenging deadlines, and achieving critical goals

·Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program majoring in computer science, life sciences, data sciences, business administration, mathematics, information systems/technology, computer engineering, privacy, or a related field.

·Ability to establish and maintain relationships internally and external representing Alexion as a progressive healthcare company

·The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.

·Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

We would prefer for you to have:

·Experience with start-up, entrepreneurial, or intrapreneurial environments.

·Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments.

·Creative thinking and logical decision-making skills.

Work Environment:

·This role is generally conducted in an office environment with an expectation of working in the office a minimum of three days a week. The position offers flexibility while emphasizing the importance of in-person collaboration to inspire bold thinking and innovation.
