What you'll do:
Digital Solution Expert (dSA) is a customer-facing role mapping product capabilities to requirements of prospects to support value messaging and articulate how SAP is uniquely positioned to deliver their desired outcomes (with a specialization in the nuances of digital sales techniques). DSAs serve as domain experts and spokesperson(s) for designated solution or product segment. DSAs are responsible for integrating SAP knowledge with modern digital sales methodologies, ensuring effective communication of product value and facilitating tailored solutions proposals for clients.
Area 1: Deal Support
The Digital Solution Advisor Expert will not only participate in the sales journey – they will lead and shape it. Entrusted with the helm of creating and delivering unparalleled sales presentations, their expertise shines in the meticulous personalization of materials, ensuring that every word and slide resonates deeply with potential client’s industry nuances and business processes, including elite company executives. Their collaboration with VAT teams transcends routine interactions; they serve as the nexus, deeply understanding and valuing our customers' perspectives, weaving their challenges with our top-tier solutions to craft a compelling narrative. While discovery sessions are standard, under their leadership, they evolve into strategic deep dives, ensuring robust relationships and a profound understanding of every client's unique needs. Their profound knowledge of SAP solutions and the intricacies of diverse industries not only secures your credibility but makes you the go-to expert, substantiated further with illustrative customer success stories. Strategically, they are pivotal in charting out customer roadmaps, guiding them from their present IT environments to the forefront of Cloud innovations. Area 2: Demand Generation
A Digital Solution Advisor Expert plays a pivotal role in demand generation utilizing their profound technical knowledge married to a keen understanding of market dynamics, they are not just a contributor; they are a visionary. Their leadership in one-to-many sales and marketing events, both on-site and remotely, sets the gold standard. Their collaboration with DG & marketing teams is foundational, ensuring that our campaigns are not just targeted but laser focused. Every piece of content under their watch highlights our product differentiators, pre-emptively answering potential client queries, and striking a chord with the audience's needs.
Area 3: Digital Content for customer facing Situations
Their expertise with SAP offerings allows you to not only curate but also innovate digital content for customer-facing situations. By aligning content with advanced solution insights and market trends, they will ensure that our digital materials are both compelling and strategically positioned to address complex customer scenarios.
Area 4: Leadership
You will have responsibility to teach and mentor. You will be asked to serve as a go-to person in your domain which includes collaborating with product and solution teams. At the Expert level, your contributions to the readiness of the Virtual Account Team (VAT) are unparalleled. You will help shape the way the VAT team perceives and pitches our products. With a visionary approach, you will anticipate challenges and proactively equip the team with strategies to address them.
What you bring:
As an expert in the end-to-end Supply Chain Management solution space, you will focus and have had experience in the overall strategic, tactical, and operational levels of end-to-end supply chain planning and execution. You will have foundational knowledge all of pillars of supply chain management including Planning (S&OP, Demand Planning, Network Planning, Logistics Mgmt (warehouse and transportation), Asset Mgmt, Product Lifecycle Management, and detailed production / operations scheduling and execution. You will also have deeper expertise and experience in at least one of these pillars with SAP solutions and/or operational experience. with 10+ years of relevant presales AND \ OR operational experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred (ideally with focus on supply chain management, operations management, or industrial engineering)
Extensive knowledge/background in operational and corporate supply chain and production management end-to-end business processes
Candidate will bring a distinguished combination of digital proficiency, technical acumen, and seasoned customer engagement expertise. A solid foundation of >5 years in (digital) presales, technology consulting, or a comparable customer-facing role is essential, with a demonstrated proficiency of at least one solution/LoB segment together with a demonstrated history of leveraging digital tools and methodologies to drive sales and client engagement
The candidate should have a track record of successfully navigating complex digital solution presentations, adeptly handling technical challenges, and building collaborative bridges between sales, technical, and digital teams
Experience in driving digital transformation in presales, advocating for the adoption of innovative digital tools, and steering teams through intricate digital sales cycles is imperative

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 194,100 - 411,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
