Digital Infrastructure Solution Architect

Leidos has an opening for a qualified Digital Infrastructure Solution Architect for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, other domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.   

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for defining and documenting the overall deployable digital infrastructure solution architecture.Interface with government and Consortium personnel to identify required activities, perform collaborative planning, review deliverables, and resolve architectural issues.Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution.Ensure the architectural solution meets government performance, scalability, and security requirements.Provide technical guidance and support to the member product teams.Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the solution.Participate in the continuous improvement of the solution.

Basic Qualifications

US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Requires a BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.Systems of Systems Integration experience (from a design/architecture perspective).Experience employing MBSE modeling (Cameo Systems Modeler preferred).Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills.Senior level technical consulting experience including experience interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders.Extensive experience designing detailed full-stack platform solutions including trade studies, cost, schedule, and technical aspects.Familiarity with architecture patterns & technologies appropriate for deployable open systems infrastructures, including most of the following:MOSA approachesCI/CDCommercial cloud (specifically AWS and Azure), hybrid cloud, edge cloud architecturesLINUX-based systemsMicroservices/Containerization/Kubernetes & service mesh/routingVoice & Data NetworksEncryptionCross-Domain solutionsModern authorization / ICAM / Zero-Trust architecturesData management/synchronizationFamiliarity with operational US military systems deployed into the tactical echelon, including specific familiarity with:Tactical and strategic/back-haul voice and data communications, including Tactical Data LinksSensor integrationMilitary Commercial cloud integration

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
