In the CF R&D team, employees develop proficiency in Digital Innovation Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education. This approach drives foundational technical understanding and solves technical problems. Through the agile framework, you will develop partnerships with businesses to understand personas, user stories, and the value crafted from a coordinated UX, UI, and data activation. You will map integrations to match technical output to UX, partner with GBS to ensure technical development meets user needs, build, review, and deploy training and communications for new functionalities, and use metrics and measures to determine the value crafted by integrations.
Job Qualifications
3 + years of Proven experience in industry or applicable skills will be considered as valuable or more in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Education - BS/ MS degree in the following:
Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and related degrees.
Demonstrated experience/expertise:
Technical curiosity and difficulty. Technical skills in science/engineering. The ultimate goal is to blend scientific and engineering knowledge with more effective data usage in R&D leading to faster learning and additional insights. Successful individuals use data and models to build causal understanding and identify opportunity areas where innovation is required to solve technical challenges. Previous work in Manufacturing, Product or Process development and measurement science is a plus.
Database and Programming experience (demonstrated real world skills) with databases (relational, graph, NoSQL, MongoDB), data modeling, and relevant programming tools such as SQL, Python. Exposure to cloud technologies (MS Azure, AWS, Google cloud) and Database technology (Hadoop, MS SQL Server) is preferred.
Collaboration skills. This role requires collaboration and agility to work well with multiple platforms, suppliers, manufacturing plants’ partners to resolve technical issues associated with material delivering. Excellent written and communication skills: Once we have resolved new ways to analyze data, communication of these insights, effective communication is needed to be successful.
Sense of urgency and field in operation. We run a fast paced business with dynamic needs.
