Digital Inventory, Specialist, full-time on site

The mission of this position is to help Church members fulfill their divinely appointed responsibility to discover their families through family history methods, submit their names to the temple for saving ordinances, and to help bring souls unto CHRIST.

 

We provide visibility into FamilySearch digital inventory to enable strategic decisions. The position exists to provide descriptive information about FamilySearch digital assets. The organization and description of this inventory enables patrons to search and discover relevant family history records. Digital Inventory Specialists are responsible for inventory management or the metadata that enables patron discovery. This includes everything from inventory tracking to conducting an inventory audit or maintenance, cataloging, and volunteer support and training.
