Digital Invoice Manager

Position Summary:
This role partners with our customers to understand their needs for receiving our invoices electronically and works with Penske’s IT team and external invoice portal vendors to deliver our invoicing. Each customer can be unique, and to provide a great experience, we need a focused individual to drive accurate and timely delivery of invoices. The number of customers moving to electronic invoice delivery continues to grow year over year with an overall impact in the billions of dollars.
Major Responsibilities: - Communicate directly with customers to understand their invoice delivery needs within the context of Penske’s multiple invoice delivery capabilities. - Understand the systems and technological capabilities to determine the best solution for each customer. - Manage new accounts set up on EDI to ensure new customers are appropriately setup withing their requirements and compliance - Partner with Sales Operations to integrate, maintain and enhance the relationship between Sales and Finance team - Ensure the invoices are being delivered timely and accurately. - Lead the offshore Genpact team & processes for execution. - Provide ongoing training and education to the staff on customer electronic invoice processes, systems, and policies. - Create training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure that all relevant personnel understand procedures and compliance. - Responsible for communicating updates, and changes to relevant stakeholders within the practice. Ensure that all applicable teams are aware of electronic invoice procedures, compliance requirements, and any modifications. - Continuously suggest and implement improvements to the processes by working with IT, customers, and other departments. - Other projects/tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Accounting and/or Finance. - MBA Preferred. - Preferred experience in managing complex invoice delivery processes and cross functional oversight of execution. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, Customer Relations & Professional Leadership. - Preferred to have understanding of electronic customer invoicing & system capabilities. - Ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships. - Effectively prioritize competing responsibilities, with a sensitivity toward matters which are time sensitive. - Ability to work with customers, understand what they need and what Penske can offer. - Ability to communicate customer needs to IT staff and relay technical requirements to non-IT users in an easily understandable manner. - Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. - Must be able to adapt to a continually changing environment. - Organize and maintain complex data and have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. - Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
