IT Analyst Job Description The Digital IT Analyst will work on both Infrastructure and Applications solutions projects while providing endpoint support to IT users at our manufacturing facility in Simi Valley. This role includes the installation, maintenance, and general support of both hardware and software critical for day-to-day business operations on the production floor. The analyst will also configure and implement application solutions to improve process efficiency, backup production workstations, and build an asset inventory and knowledge base of production data, software, and hardware solutions. Additionally, the analyst will document a variety of IT processes and application solutions, including the IT services catalog. Responsibilities + Install, maintain, and provide general support for hardware and software critical for daily business operations on the production floor. + Configure and implement application solutions to enhance process efficiency. + Backup production workstations and build an asset inventory and knowledge base of production data, software, and hardware solutions. + Document various IT processes and application solutions, including the IT services catalog. + Build asset inventory and catalog data, software, and IT hardware in the production area. + Build and install workstations, IT equipment, or software applications as needed under the guidance and supervision of the division IT team. + Partner with various business departments to configure application solutions to improve overall process efficiency. + Collaborate with the engineering and production team to document IT solutions and interfaces with production equipment and systems. + Backup and image all workstations on the production floor as required. + Install and/or upgrade software solutions on production workstations as needed. + Perform troubleshooting using basic diagnostic techniques. + Support the IT team in daily operations by learning and participating in a variety of activities. + Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement remedial actions as required. + Build an IT services catalog to provide better visibility and understanding of IT services to users. + Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. + Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Essential Skills + Experience with asset inventory management. + Proficiency in SQL and SQL scripting. + Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Knowledge of Power BI. + Software development skills. + Experience with Active Directory software. + Ability to build and catalog data, software, and IT hardware in production areas. + Experience in building and installing workstations, IT equipment, or software applications. + Ability to collaborate with various business departments and engineering teams. + Experience in documenting IT solutions and interfaces with production equipment/systems. + Proficiency in scripting software and shell scripting.
