Job Summary As a Digital Learning Technologies Specialist, you’ll be an integral part of a dynamic team at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge digital learning programs for Compass Associates. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our associates are well-equipped and confident in using these technologies, driving both efficiency and innovation within our organization. Responsibilities: + LMS Management: + Upload and manage learning programs on our LMS system, ensuring all content is organized and accessible. + Work closely with our Corporate Learning & Development (L&D) Department to align LMS content with organizational learning objectives. + Regularly update and maintain the LMS to ensure it reflects the latest training materials and resources. + Provide technical support and training to users, helping them navigate and utilize the LMS effectively. + Monitor LMS usage and performance, generating reports and analytics to identify areas for improvement. + Collaborate with content creators and product developers to integrate new learning materials into the LMS seamlessly. + Oversight and Management of Knowledge Article Portal: + Oversee the organization and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge article portal. + Ensure that all knowledge articles are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to users. + Collaborate with subject matter experts to update existing articles. + Monitor portal usage and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality and relevance of the content. + Train and support users in navigating and utilizing the knowledge article portal effectively. + Content Development: + Gather content and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop knowledge articles, training manuals, and quick reference guides. This includes content writing and editing. + Technical Support: + Monitor and respond to inquiries via the Digital Support Center portal, discussion boards, and articles. + Web Maintenance: + Provide basic web maintenance and manage applications posted to related resource links on the internal website. + Survey Analysis: + Collect, analyze, and report on qualitative and quantitative survey data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. + Collaboration: + Work with internal teams and external partners to support their training efforts, including creating videos, LMS courses, manuals, and guides. Qualifications: + Experience: + 1-3 years of project management and training experience, specifically in designing and developing content for technical, regulatory, and/or compliance training programs, or equivalent experience in program development and project management. Experience in training adult learners is highly desirable. + Education: + A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Adult Education. + Knowledge of LMS Systems: + A strong understanding of LMS systems’ features and functionality is essential. You’ll leverage this knowledge to optimize our digital learning platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly and effective in delivering training content. Your expertise will help us continuously improve the learning experience for all users. + Technical Skills: + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. + Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for web maintenance tasks. + Experience with Zendesk or other enterprise Help Desk products is a plus. + Experience in basic coding is a plus. + Knowledge of retail technologies is a plus. + Graphic design skills are a plus. + Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and other related software is a plus. + Content Creation: + Ability to translate technical language into digestible content for non-technical audiences. + Communication Skills: + Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills. + Adaptability: + Able to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment.
