Digital Marketing Coordinator
TITLE: DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR Position Description The Digital Marketing Coordinator will help drive online sales for A.M. Leonard.  This position will report to the Marketing Operations Manager and work closely with the Marketing, Merchandising and Creative departments to coordinate digital marketing efforts related to the amleo.com and gardenersedge.com e-commerce websites. Main responsibilities will include coordinating the addition of new products to the websites, keeping images and website collateral updated, and coordinating changes, revisions and improvements to provide the best user experience for the customer.  They will work closely with the E-Commerce Administrator on strategic growth projects on both sites and e-commerce platforms.  Additionally, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing and creating content for our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram as well as managing our affiliate program. Essential Functions Execute Daily Digital Marketing Activities to reach company sales and profitability goals. Coordinate the efficient addition of new products to the amleo.com and gardenersedge.com websites, to provide the best product line possible for the customer. Serve as a point of contact for our websites internally, consistently updating and informing Creative/Marketing/Merchandising leads of progress and updates on each platform. Assist in the Execution of Digital Marketing Projects: + Update / Change Images on both sites + Review and Update Copy on both sites + Change / Update Advertising and Sales Collateral on both sites + Work with Marketing Operations Manager to Follow-Up on Deadlines and Schedules + Assist in the execution of strategic projects and implementations on both sites Social Media Management: + Develop and manage social media content calendars for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram + Create engaging and brand-aligned posts and videos to increase audience engagement and revenue + Review analytics for all social media platforms and report on performance + Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices Affiliate Program: + Communicate with current affiliates and reach out to potential candidates for the program + Approve/Deny pending affiliates and commissions + Set up affiliate promo codes and process commission payouts             Competencies + Communication throughout the work environment, both written and oral. Must know how to communicate through our social media platforms + Flexibility and Time Management to manage changing priorities and demonstrate ability to make changes on the fly + Adaptability to quickly move from one task to another without losing focus and being able to resume progress of previously started tasks seamlessly + Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving to solve complex problems, persist through significant obstacles and data, summarize and communicate critical information accurately + Personal Development and Learning Orientation with enthusiasm and ability to learn new concepts to improve marketing and professional skills + Quality Orientation with a focus on attention to detail in facilitation of 100% error-free artwork and copy including technical accuracy across various mediums (email, articles, product copy, social media posts, or press releases) + Relentless drive for Continuous Improvement and Innovation to optimize marketing processes, initiate new marketing ideas and identify potential marketing opportunities + Project Management to successfully manage multiple projects at once and persist through significant obstacles for issue resolution Required Education & Experience + 2+ years in a marketing environment + BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or related disciplines Preferred Education & Experience + Experience working in the Magento ecommerce platform + Experience with Adobe or other video and photo editing software + Experience/knowledge in social media management + Experience in Gardening or Landscaping Industry Physical Demands + This position is in an office setting with most work being completed from a desk + Some outside of the office work will be required such as photo/video shoots either independently or alongside our Creative team + Comfortable being on camera and working with others on and off camera Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.  Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with overtime as needed. Work Environment This position works in a temperature-controlled office setting but may require entering a Distribution Center in varying temperature and noise levels. Supervisory Responsibility The Digital Marketing Coordinator role does not have supervisory responsibility.   BENEFITS We offer a high deductible health plan (HDHP), dental, and vision insurance.
