Digital Marketing Platforms Manager
Job Purpose and Summary

The Digital Marketing Platforms Manager will be responsible to define and drive the Digital Product vision, strategy & roadmap, in line with customer expectation and business marketing strategy. 

Provide overall ownership and understanding of our business needs and external market capabilities, to develop and implement Canon’s digital marketing platform initiatives. 

Act as the Product Manager/Product Owner for all B2B Marketing Platforms (in accordance with SAFE methodology) – the current platforms are B2B Website, C2C, Partner Portal, Marketing Automation and gating solution.   

The focus will be maximising the value delivered through our digital products mentioned above, covering their B2B customer audience.

Development planning

Contribute to the overall B2B Digital programmeCapture business requirements for the Digital Platforms you are responsible for and support the translation of these into technical requirementsWork with business stakeholders to agree prioritisation of requirements and implementation schedulesWork with Business Units, IT & Canon National Sales Oorganisations (NSO) to develop future B2B strategyDay to day decision making & influencing for small developmentsOwn the product backlog for your Digital Platforms and ensure it is forward lookingDefine User Stories and clear acceptance criteriaManage and prioritise defectsWork with Functional Application Management to resolve production issuesInput into other MMarketing Support initiatives for the digital roadmap

Delivery

Manage all content processes for maintaining and developing the websiteWork with publishing team to prioritise and schedule content updatesManage all product/platform defects and enhancements including roadmap deliveryRepresent the business in day-to-day development decisionsCoordinate testing and accept UAT deploymentsCommunicate releases outlining new business value to business stakeholders          

Adoption

Drive business adoption of Digital Platform capabilitiesCo-ordinate training with national stakeholders and L&D teamUse reporting data and analytics to drive business adoption and technical developmentUndertake business development activities with Local Markets to drive further platform usage, ensuring that benefits are realisedWork with analytics team to analyse and visually report usage trendsProvide the link between Local Markets and Central team to drive Market adoption, including management of Local champion communitiesShare best practice across Markets to maximise benefits

What we ask

Extensive international IT project management experience (SAFe / Agile methodologies)Experience working with Marketing platformsWorking with IT delivery teams as Product Owner/Product ManagerUnderstanding of Jira and typical Agile delivery methods (e.g. SAFe or Scrum, user stories, etc)3-5 years’ experience as a Digital Product Owner/Product Manager3+ years’ experience working on Website ownership, Marketing Automation or Partner PortalProven track record with UX/ CXExperience and understanding of working within an Agile/Scrum (SAFe) environmentAnalytical skills, able to measure impact and identify trendsDemonstrable experience of working with Developers, Designers and Testing teams on the roll-out and implementation of digital / IT solutionsExcellent communication and presentation skills with a proactive approachPassionate about customer experience and digitalThe ability to set clear objectives and develop plans to meet them

Our offices are based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

Salary: up to £71,000 dependent on experience plus a 10% annual bonus.
