Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key member of the South Street Partners marketing team and will manage and execute a wide-range of digital channels, projects and tasks in efforts to service marketing, real estate sales and club components of SSP’s portfolio. This position will be responsible for email, website development and maintenance as well as other digital marketing strategies set forth by the Director of Marketing Operations. The candidate will assist with our email marketing strategy and program emails, maintaining design best practices and reporting. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work heavily in CRMs and marketing automation systems such as Hubspot and Salesforce. This position works closely with in-house teams as well as agency partners to produce a number of marketing materials to accomplish overall goals. The candidate must have great project management skills, rigorous attention to detail and a positive, get-it-done attitude.
This is a hybrid role, working partially remotely and in-office 2 days per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Program, deploy and analyze email campaign performance.
+ Manage best practices for programming and sends of all.
+ Participate in design review and test your code across multiple platforms for performance and usability.
+ Oversee websites including new development and maintenance. Primarily Wordpress CMS
+ Create and edit web pages for new content and landing pages, or work with agencies to implement.
+ Update existing content through Wordpress dashboard including images, video, etc. with additional emphasis towards improving UI/UX and conversion.
+ Assist with reporting through Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
+ Execute ongoing digital tasks as requested by various project teams.
+ Assist in design, development and launch of programs.
+ Manage email, social, phone and website tracking through integration with Hubspot and Salesforce.
+ Liaise between agency partners that provide support for new website development and features, digital tools, reporting and general web support.
+ Assist with SEO/SEM strategy, content, ads and landing page generation.
+ Contribute to efficiency and effectiveness by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team.
+ Stay up-to-date on latest trends in technology, development, websites, and competitor activity.
+ Assist in training team members and staff on new tools and best practices.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Web Development or related field.
+ 3+ Years of marketing and/or digital experience including strong knowledge of HTML, & CSS is a must. JavaScript and PHP experience a bonus.
+ Experience working on both the design & development in a project-based environment.
+ Knowledge of HTML/Email templating best practices, including CAN-SPAM rules & regulations
+ Working knowledge of CRM systems and data analysis. Salesforce (Propertybase) and Hubspot experience a plus.
+ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including design tools and Microsoft products.
+ Expert in project and task management.
+ Ability to deliver high quality work, quickly, in a dynamic organization under time pressure.
+ Demonstrated success in creating real impact within a networked, cross-organizational environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail.
+ Strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds.
+ Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
