JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Marketplace Leader will lead the Product and Technology’s Digital Marketplace line of business with oversight of the Product workforce responsible for developing and delivering a best-in-class digital marketplace for seamless entertainment applications. Leads collaboration with stakeholder groups across the business to develop and deliver on strategies relating to Video products and the Digital Marketplace. Drives seamless Digital Marketplace customer and user interactions across all platforms (e.g., spectrum.net, My Spectrum App, Spectrum TV App, Xumo STB) while creating a user experience that is simple with industry-leading ease of activation, onboarding, and change of service functionality.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Create and execute the strategy for the Digital Marketplace line of business and collaborate with leadership of other business groups (e.g., Programming Acquisition, Business Development, Cable Operations, Marketing, Billing, Customer Operations, Design and Billing) to ensure that strategies are aligned across the Company and executed effectively.Drive cross-functional strategic implementation including promotional outreach, and drive monetization of video experience, via advertising infrastructure or in-app buyflow (e.g., video upgrades, add-ons).Build a best-in-class digital store (Digital Marketplace), initially for seamless entertainment applications.Ensure appropriate instrumentation, analyze data, drive reporting that continuously evaluates success and opportunitiesDrive seamless Digital Marketplace customer/user interactions across all platforms (e.g., spectrum.net, My Spectrum App, Spectrum TV App, Xumo STB), and create a user experience that is simple and has industry-leading ease of activation, onboarding, and change of service.Craft compelling documentation that drives decision-making and alignment from working teams through executive leadership
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeExpertise in developing and communicating business strategies, collaborating across business areas to create strategic alignment, and leading large, cross-functional teams to implement complex strategiesExpert written and oral presentation skills with ability to present to senior executive audiencesExpert influence and negotiation skills with both internal and external audiences; capable of effectively communicating on behalf of the company with external parties (vendors, regulatory agencies, etc.)Experienced executive Product leader spanning IP video, digital transformation and content/programming business modelsExperience understanding the underlying technology platforms including advertising and how best to scale a rapidly growing businessProficiency in finance and accounting concepts for a large, publicly traded company and experienced in managing capital and operating expenses for several large departmentsCompetent personal computing skills and utilization of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentationsExecutive presence with ability to make decisions, prioritize and organize effectively, and solve complex problems within business critical timeframesUnderstanding of video delivery technology, software engineering, and components involved in providing both QAM and IP video to customersRequired EducationBachelor's Degree in Product Development, Engineering, Information Systems, or other related fields or equivalent work experienceRequired Related Work Experience and Number of YearsDigital Marketplace experience - 15+Progressive leadership experience including executive-level leadership of large and multi-layered teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Skills/Abilities and KnowledgePreferred EducationPreferred Related Work Experience and Number of YearsWORKING CONDITIONSOffice EnvironmentTravel required as necessaryPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTSPhysical RequirementsMental Requirements

The base pay for this position generally is between $236,200.00 and $393,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
