What You'll do

As a Digital Merchandiser, you will be responsible for enhancing customer experience, ensuring presentation accuracy, and improving product discoverability on RuralKing.com.

You will drive sales and boost conversion rates through impactful merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple priorities with precision and urgency, while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve success.Oversee the organization and presentation of products to meet sales and merchandising goals, ensuring engaging and intuitive customer experience.Manage and develop product taxonomy on website - with cross functional collaboration to ensure revenue, conversion, and traffic improvements. Ensure all product information across the website is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand standards.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing weekly and ad-hoc reports to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement.Regularly review competitor websites to evaluate merchandising tactics, promotional strategies, and product presentation, translating insights into actionable online initiatives.Partner with internal teams marketing, IT, buying, and others—to align on merchandising strategies and optimize the online shopping experience.Maintain professional communication with external vendors to acquire missing product information and resolve discrepancies.Research industry trends and customer preferences to identify potential product offerings and digital experiences to ensure Rural King remains competitive in the online space.Assist in optimizing product listings for search engines and support accurate tagging to enhance discoverability.Have discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King’s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualities for SuccessAt least 2 years of digital merchandising experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.Proficiency with Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, proactivity, resourcefulness, and efficiency.Experience in working with complex data or documents, carefully examining details, and verifying information for completeness or correctness.Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and effective decision-making with minimal supervision.Demonstrated willingness to take on new responsibilities, tasks, and projects demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and growth.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely.

 

Physical Requirements  Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.Ability to navigate and access all facilities.Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.Close vision for computer-related activities.

The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $80,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
