What You’ll Get to Do:

Work with an agile, fast paced team focused on defending our client’s global networks through security analysis, penetration testing and tactical analysis of ongoing attacks. Support to operations with a variety of indirect technical solutions and implementations across various networks and diverse infrastructure. This is a hands-on support role to enable operations. Candidate will support operator activities by assisting in the operational planning, implementations of infrastructure, automation of data ETL/processing/ingest workflows, and various configuration settings across operational solutions sets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly visible projects that directly make an impact to the Nations mission. Work as a critical component in taking complex problems and delivering solutions that are simple yet elegant. You will be a motivated, pioneering contributor with the ability to drive our long-term strategic goals with daily tactical objectives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with the required customer polygraph clearance. 

Bachelors degree and 7+ years of experience

Experience in either the design, implementation, procurement, t/c, or mx of various layers of network infrastructure

Understanding of network/cyber security, penetration testing, and infosec practices

Proficient in virtualization technologies: VMWare, vSphere, QEMU, Docker

Proficient in python, specifically for data manipulation and automation

Proficient in Linux system administration

Thorough understanding of networking principles and configurations (tcpdump, Wireshark, iptables)

Proficient documentation skills to develop templates and checklists for system configurations

Familiarity with software testing methodologies and Devops

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have:

Familiarity with commonly used large scale service components (webservers, databases, load balancers, caching servers, storage clusters, etc.)

Database experience, to include writing complex queries and modifying schemas (Oracle, MySQL)

Experience performing network packet inspection, traffic analysis, performance characterization (e.g. Wireshark, tcpdump, Security Onion, etc.)

Hands on experience with web app pen-testing concepts and usage of tools (e.g. Burp Suite)

Experience with network device discovery (e.g. Shodan, Google Dorking, Censys, etc.)

Prior operational experience within or in support of CNO

Certification in OSCP, OSWE, GXPN, GPEN, or equivalent

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
