Description: The Digital Payload Systems Engineer is responsible for the architecture design, analysis, implementation, optimization and enhancement of end-to-end communication digital payload systems and sub-systems. The tasks will include: - Design of Communication Satellite digital Payloads (with transparent or regenerative processors). - Liaise discussions with our customers and Program Management - Lead technical projects and end-to-end telecommunications systems engineering activities - Lead System requirements definition flowdown and subsystem specifications for RF, Digital and optical payload units - Lead/perform requirement analysis, budgets and system trade studies. - Lead link and performance budget calculations and evaluate satellite throughput. - Supervise & generate Test Plans, Test methods for Satellite Systems Integration, Verification and Validation - Lead Design Reviews over the full Space Programs Life Cycle Experience Level: Expert Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
