Job Description:

Location: Scarborough, Maine

We are hiring for a Digital Print Operator in Scarborough, ME! The digital Print Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Production and quality standard on the digital print machines

Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains production and quality standards on digital print machines.
• Performs certified preventative maintenance, adjustments, and repairs to the press as needed; contacts maintenance staff when appropriate.
• Troubleshoots and corrects equipment problems/errors using certification training knowledge; elevates to management as needed.
• Reviews and checks pertinent specifications and information on the machine’s diagnostic screen to determine proper operation.
• Scans out completed jobs (that require scanning) to keep systems updated.
• Performs quality checks on printed files, images, and documents to check size, font, text with special emphasis on strict quality control and accuracy.
• Sets up equipment to ensure documents are processed correctly.
• Resolves equipment errors by determining and implementing proper resolution based on reference material.
• Documents maintenance and job activities in log and operate multiple digital printers simultaneously.
• Communicates pertinent information to co-workers, internal contacts, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental Procedures.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand up to 10 hours each day.
• Periodic physical activity requires bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting.

Work Environment:
Normal exposure to office, manufacturing, and warehouse environment.

Other Information:

Shift hours 3:00PM to 11:30PM
For a qualified candidate pay rage is $21-$23 DOE.
For a less seasoned candidate that could pick up the job quickly &train would be $20 start.
