Digital Printing Specialist IIPosition Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a Digital Printing Specialist II for our location in Dalton, GA. The Digital Printing Specialist II partners with business units across the enterprise to offer various types of print solutions. These positions will drive the execution for all print production across a fleet of digital printing and finishing equipment. A strong partnership with the Digital Lab team to ensure quality imagery is consistently maintained is expected in these positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Inspect printed materials for quality control, making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality output
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts as needed
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with management when necessary
Coordinate and execute all production to ensure timely delivery
Maintain inventory of supplies and raw materials
Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift supplies up to 50 lbs.
DIGITAL PRINTING SPECIALIST I
Expectations
Setting up and operating machines or equipment used in the finishing processes
Inspecting printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards
Trimming and cutting materials to size, using cutting machines or hand tools
Folding materials according to specific instructions and guidelines
Collating and assembling material in the correct order and sequence
Binding materials using various methods
Packaging finished materials for shipment or distribution
Maintaining and repairing equipment, as needed
DIGITAL PRINTING SPECIALIST II
Expectations
Capable to perform all expectations of the Digital Printing Specialist I position
Operating digital print equipment to produce high-quality printing
Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of digital printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Monitoring print production and adjusting as necessary to ensure consistent and accurate output
Managing inventory and supplies to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials
Coordinating with internal partners to ensure that print jobs are completed on time and meet their expectations
Troubleshooting issues with digital printing equipment and software to identify and resolve problems
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or related equivalent - Required
Minimum of 2 years working in a print production environment - Preferred
Pass Munsell Hue Color Discrimination Test - Required
Customer centricity
Ability to manage and perform multiple critical tasks simultaneously
Ability to plan, organize and execute strategically
Effective communication skills - both verbal and written
