Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB’s digital offerings to the targeted market segments and manages the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with the market needs and division/product group/business line strategy and targets. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of one or more digital offerings. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the business results by overseeing each step involved in the offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.• Driving the profitability and life cycle of the On Premise Energy Management Software and Solutions (Hardware+Software) by defining pricing guidelines and market position• Ensure ability to meet external and internal (ELSP Solutions Units) customer expectations, while tracking and analyzing the adoption and the key performance and trends of On Premise Energy Management Software and Solutions (Hardware+Software) in China.• Working closely within your Agile Team and in synergy with other Agile Teams (within the Digital Platform & Capabilities Unit or with other Solutions Units) to develop On Premise Software and/or Hardware features and propose and evaluate key evolutions, upgrades, enhancements even evaluating feasibility projects and roadmaps for On Premise Energy Management Software and Solutions (Hardware+Software) in China • Providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales team • Dealing with key partners such as ESCOs (Energy Service Companies) or SIs (System Integrators) to assure that the On Premise Energy Management Software and Solutions (Hardware+Software) can generate value for key partners• Cooperate with Innovation Team and with key Tech Partners (e.g., Huawei, Microsoft …) and Tech Experts (such as Universities / Innovation Centers) to boost the innovation level of On Premise Energy Management Software and Solutions (Hardware+Software) in China• Guiding, coaching, and developing the skills and knowledge of the sales team
Qualifications for the role5+ years of industry experience with relevant experience in Digital/Software, Sound knowledge of Digital Business Models and the Software Industry and deep understanding of Customer engagement and service business Deep Experience of On Premise Software and Solutions (Hardware+Software) in particular in the Low Voltage / Energy Management vertical Familiar with Agile methodologies as well as good knowledge of the Electrical Equipment Industry Start-up approach, corporate culture, passion for customers, quality, and technology, comfortable around ambiguity and curious of testing new products Digital mindset and strong acumen to imagine “how to make it happen, how to keep it simple” Capability to setup a roadmap, gradually re-balance portfolio of features even leveraging external supplier and partners Ability to team up with horizontal team, to coach and develop young resources and to discuss with senior leader within and outside ABB
