Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $91,000.00 - $121,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main responsibilities of this position are to help drive strategic conversations across the organization, lead strategy, and manage API and embedded banking products.

Essential Functions

Contribute to the development, refinement, expansion and implementation of product strategy and functionality with management oversight by collaborating with stakeholders

Create a vision for new features and capabilities for API based products

Help define open banking API standards and develop a pricing strategy

Maintain an open line of communication across multiple lines of business, including sales, marketing, operations, other product managers, sales enablement, and IT to ensure market success

Gain insight into customer needs and identify opportunities that solve market problems and provide payments and receivables data in various formats

Work with other product managers to align API roadmaps with other product roadmaps

Facilitate task-based meetings, such as priority or status meetings.

Effectively participate in team meetings related to their product(s) and provide meaningful feedback and insights

Engage with corporate customers to understand ERP banking products to work with a greater array of ERP and accounting systems and add new functionality

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Strong understanding of product management and ability to influence stakeholders and teams

Intermediate understanding of API technologies and platforms

Intermediate knowledge of agile development methodology

Strong understanding of compliance and legal matters that impact their product and business definitions

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook  

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

4+ years product management/development and product lifecycle experience or related experience in commercial payments/cash management required

Development or business analysis experience preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $91,000 to $121,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
