Digital Product Operations Manager II

Scope of role 

Our Digital Experience Platform team is looking for a motivated Digital Product Operations Manager II who is passionate about digital product management, enabling applications that create world class experiences for internal and external users every day.  The right candidate is a big picture thinker and an in-depth problem solver, looking to make an impact at an enterprise level. 

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Product Operations Manager II to lead and optimize our digital product operations. This role is pivotal in managing operational metrics and processes from ideation through development and deployment. This role will span across multiple platforms, including Salesforce.com, eCommerce, Mobile, and Product Information Management (PIM). As a thought leader, you will collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners, providing guidance, fostering an agile culture and operational excellence within the teams. 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, energized by continuous improvement and agile product development. They will value voice of the customer, knowing that with every sprint release there is value created. The ideal candidate is organized, a highly skilled communicator, is ready to plug into existing product teams, and prepared to optimize product delivery and impact. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operational Excellence: Oversee and enhance operational metrics and processes to ensure efficient and effective digital product development. 

Agile Coaching: Serve as an Agile coach, promoting Agile methodologies and best practices within the team to drive continuous improvement and innovation. 

Strategic Leadership: Act as a thought leader, guiding product owners and stakeholders in the development and execution of digital strategies. Work with the product pods to ensure priorities are understood and clear 

Project/Portfolio Management: Oversee platforms project portfolio, ensuring regular project status updates are made and communicated. Partner with PMO to ensure Digital Platforms to PMO standards. Capture and summarize project statuses, providing comprehensive and clear updates to stakeholders.  

Product Communications:  Socialize new release features to relevant stakeholders across the businesses. Set standards for product release notes for scalability across all platform teams. Champion Change Management strategies and ensure execution cross functionally. 

Process Management: Develop, implement, and refine processes to optimize end to end SDLC. 

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. 

Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital initiatives and achieve project milestones. 

Cross-Platform Coordination: Manage activities across Salesforce, eCommerce, Mobile, and PIM/MDM, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals. 

   

Professional Experience/ Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in digital applications/ marketing technology with a strong background in digital product management, managing operational/creating metrics and processes, continuous improvement and strategic technology selection.  

Minimum 3 years of experience in a high visibility role within a large/ complex organization, and proven track record of meeting organizational goals. Global, B2B, manufacturing experience is preferred.

Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, modern technologies, and process management. 

Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities. 

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Understanding of modern digital technologies including Salesforce, eCommerce platforms, Mobile applications, API layers, and/or PIM systems.

Certifications: Agile Coach certification, CPO, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Expected Salary: $95,000- $140,000 annually.

Please note that compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
